Man, you know it's a shitty day for TV when the only movie on is fucking Mystic Pizza. It's not that I hate chick flicks. I mean c'mon, I cried at Terms of Endearment but these super shlocky, dripping with Kenny G solos, over obvious cinematic kleenexes gotta go. FriedGreenSteelMysticBeaches - of course there's the opposite, the dick flick. Testosterone slinging, gun toting mindless celluloid cocks. There are some great dick flicks - Taxi Driver, Reservoir Dogs, Apocalypse Now, Terminator. But then there's Cobra, Under Siege, Universal Soldier and the millions of other turds with explosions. Hey, at least they have explosions. Bad chick flicks would be more tolerable if shit blew up or somebody sprayed the beauty parlor with an Uzi. Peggy Sue Got Married is coming on, that's a pretty good chick flick. I love Nick Cage's cartoon voice in it.
A friend of mine e-bugged me about not updating enough. Sorry everyone but I've been super busy. Took the Muff Fluffers into the studio last night. We're working on versions of Mullet and Brother Can You Spare A Damn, those were the two most popular new ones from the live set. Going back in tonight, wish me luck.
