Damned if I know. Life is at an odd slant. Calling the freak zone collect. Auditions start on Sunday. Joy. Playing the waiting game with a certain cable network. Joy. So what have I been doing in my down time? Well, I bought a DVD player. Cheap! My friend Ernie turned me on to this cool DVD/MP3 player by Apex. 60 bucks at Circuit City. Not bad, eh? Of course then I spent over a hundred bucks on DVDs. So I've been sitting on my ass, watching great films and trying to come up with ideas for this cable TV thing that I'm not ready to write about. But I will tell you what movies I bought after I go get a beer.
Okay, I'm back. Tecate tonight. Mmmmm Mexican beer rules. Anyway, I bought The Usual Suspects, Dr. Strangelove, M*A*S*H, Reefer Madness, Paths Of Glory, A Bridge Too Far (those two were in a double pack) and A Beautiful Mind. Feel free to send me tons of DVDs but if you're sending me bootlegs, make sure they include all of the behind the scenes stuff. That's what I'm addicted to. I can't get enough of all of the "making of" crap that they tag on to the discs. Yeah yeah yeah, film degree geek boy. I have to tell you that I went to the worst fucking film school in the world. Nobody on the faculty had any clue about what made good cinema. Ah well, I'll show 'em all.
Hey, it feels good to be writing again. I know it's been quite a drought but maybe I'll get back in the swing of things. What would help is if you guys would sign my guest book. I love to get messages from y'all. Ok, enough whining.
